Workshop Description
A comprehensive introductory workshop on achieving accessibility in your artistic work. Rethink your artistic practice and current understanding of “Accessibility” and “Inclusion.” This workshop will challenge participants to redefine their personal understanding of access by breaking down one’s experience, social location, and relationship to accessibility. Following this, the group will be able to imagine what access can look like in solo and collaborative work, and what steps are necessary to achieve it. Through introspection, group discussions, and thought-provoking exercises, Artists will leave this workshop with a greater understanding and action plan to better their commitment to achieving and providing accessibility and furthering their inclusion practices.
*Rapid Covid-19 Tests will be provided for workshop participants and masks are encouraged but optional.
