A Panel Discussion Unveiling the Multifaceted World of Apprenticeships on Stage and Behind The Scenes.

We are meeting with our AZ-MAP participants for a public panel discussion to discuss how this groundbreaking initiative has changed their approach to theatre practices and work – from exercising more agency over their education plans to achieve their professional goals. With a wide variety of instructional pathways that are tailored to individual participant needs, we aim at creating opportunities on local, provincial & national scales!

AZ-MAP is revolutionizing theatre education in its pilot year, offering two program participants the opportunity to take control of their training and professional development. With a focus on individualised pursuits based on professional goals, we are discussing how this kind of supported mentorship could be implemented nationally — leading to transformation in the landscape for emerging performance artists!
