Azimuth Theatre is casting the Lobbyist Performing Ensemble for Expanse Festival 2026. We’re looking for queer women and non-binary artists with a passion for movement, dance, and collaborative creation.⁠
⁠
Lobbyists will create site-responsive work throughout the festival and participate as part of the dance ensemble in Ultra Violets, a mainstage festival production from Vancouver. No dance experience? No problem! Curiosity, physical awareness, and willingness to learn matter most.⁠
⁠
Auditions are playful, low-pressure, and collaborative.⁠

Azimuth Theatre is celebrating 35 years of bold, community-driven performance—and we’re reimagining our merch line with a design created in collaboration with a BIPOC digital visual artist.⁠
⁠
We’re seeking an artist whose work reflects transformation, movement, identity, and community care—the values that have shaped Azimuth’s history and continue to guide our future.⁠
⁠
You’ll collaborate with our Artistic Producers to create a small set of merch-ready designs for shirts, hats, mugs, totes, and more for our 2026 launch.⁠

• $2,750 artist fee (includes full buyout + exclusive commercial rights for Azimuth)⁠
 • Your work featured in our 35th Anniversary campaign⁠
