2 Day – Solo Performance Creation with Kunji Ikeda

Short Description of the Workshop:

This workshop will look at practices and framing devices that can bring your idea to life! “A creative stimulation for any phase of your work.” Dig into your creative thoughts and encourage them to grow alongside the multidimensional creative care of Kunji Ikeda – creator and performer of Sansei: The Storyteller. Participants are asked to come with an idea for their performance, but the methods are useful at any stage of development. Kunji comes with decades of performance creation experience including intimate studies of the OYR Summer Lab Intensive, theatre and dance dramaturgy, and an ongoing Solo Performance Creation class for senior university arts students.
