Do you have an incredible idea for an original musical, but don’t know how to get started? Perhaps, you’ve written musicals before but are interested to see someone else’s creative process?
Through this lab, we plan to share and discuss which tools and learnings we have found helpful in writing and building original musicals from idea to the stage. We’ll explore script writing, what makes an interesting story, how to get started with music, and where to go when you have a first draft. We’ll also discuss the important role of collaboration in the process of creation.
Come prepared to share your past experiences, delve into writing exercises, and collaborate together in this writing focused workshop.
