Mindfulness in Movement with Linda Turnbull

Breath is Key.
In this class we will begin with a short yoga practice to connect body and breath. Moving off the mat, we will move into more grounded, flowing floor and partner work exploring the sense of touch and using our breath as a soundscape.
Linda is an Edmonton-based movement artist and teacher. She has performed, choreographed and collaborated with many artists in her career, but her most challenging and fulfilling work is being a mother to two very energetic and amazing children. Her collaborator in life (partner in crime, significant other, husband) just happens to be a Solar electrician who also likes to play on stage from time to time. Linda is a teacher, co-owner and director at Shala Ashtanga Yoga Centre in Edmonton.
