But now you want to take it places. Maybe you’ve always dreamed of touring across North America, going to the Edinburgh Fringe. Or touring to Australia and holding a koala.
In this workshop, you will learn practical strategies on how to self-produce, fund, and tour your work nationally and internationally to some of the biggest festivals in the world (Edinburgh, Adelaide, the CAFF circuit and more). This workshop will teach you the tools you’ll need to take that show around the world and how to make it sexy to venues, audiences, industry and programmers (and not go broke in the process.)

S.E. Grummett (they/them) is a queer, transgender theatre artist from Treaty 6 Territory/Saskatoon. Over the past 5 years, Grumms has created a body of original queer work and relentlessly toured it across Canada, USA, Australia, the UK and Europe, including Canada, US, UK, Europe and Australia. They are the co-creator of “SCUM: a manifesto”, “Girl in the Box”, “Pack Animals” and “Creepy Boys”. Their solo-show, “Something in the Water”, has toured around the world to queer audiences young and old. They have performed, self-produced and sold-out shows at the largest arts festivals in the world including the Edinburgh Fringe (2021, 2022, 2023), the Australian circuit (2021, 2023), Prague Quadrennial (2023), Latitude Festival UK (2023), STOFF Festival Stockholm (2022), Twin Cities Horror Festival (2021) and across Canada.
